InvestigatorAnna Marie Young (she/her)
Anna Marie Young has been an Investigator for Intermountain Fair Housing Council since 2022. She investigates housing discrimination complaints and provides support to the eviction-prevention team as well. She was born and raised in Idaho, then moved to California to earn a degree in Community and Regional Development, from UC Davis. After she graduated, she worked in the California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research for three years. The committee she worked for is charged with coordinating state efforts to create sustainable equitable communities. Since then, Anna Marie has had experience working for local governments and other related non-profits here in Idaho. She is certified by the National Fair Housing Training Academy in “Fair Housing Basics” and “The Fundamentals of Intake” and is a graduate of the National Fair Housing Alliance’s Fair Housing School.
In her free time, Anna Marie loves playing outside with her kids, taking care of her hilarious chickens, and gardening.
